Ogo Nodi, apon bege pagol-para.
Ami stabdha chanpar toru     gondho bhore tandra hara .

Ami soda achol thaki, gobhir chola gogpon rakhi,
amar chola nobin patae, amar chola phooler dhara.

Ogo nodi , cholar bege pagol-para,
pothe pothe bahir hoye apon-hara,

Amar chola jae na bola --- alor pane praner chola----
akash bojhe anondo taar, bojhe nishar nirob tara. 


Explanation :

The river is maddened with its force of stream 
I am a spellbound Champa tree , overburdened with fragrance, sleepless

I always stay rooted and keep my deep movements secret
My movements are my young leaves , my movements are my cascade of flowers .

The river however is mad with its flow of stream
Travelling new roads it  becomes selfless

My movements cannot be spoken of -- movement of life towards light
The sky understands my joy ,  also the silent stars of dark night


(The word  'Ogo' is a salutation for loved one .  'My dear' is closest approximation. )
