TAGORE SONGS SITER HAOWAE LAGLO NACHON

SITER HAOWAE LAGLO NACHON

                     Nature/Winter/176  ( Ref: Gitobitan )

Siter haowae laglo nachon amlokir ai dale dale.
Pata guli sirsiriye jhoriye dilo dale dale.

Uriye debar maton eshe  kangal tare korlo seshe,
Tokhon tahar foler bahar roilo na aar ontorale

Sunyo kore bhoriye dewya jahar khela
Tari lagi roinu boshe sokol bela

Himer porosh theke theke jae bujhi oi deke deke
Sob khowabar somoe amar hobe kokhon kon sokale .

Explanation :

The winter breeze brought to dance the branches of gooseberry(amla)
All the leaves shivered and started dropping from the branches .

The urge(intoxication) of flying came and robbed it all over(turned it to a pauper)
Then it's beauty of fruits could no longer stay hidden.

Reducing to zero and then filling up is His game
Have been sitting for Him the whole day
(Please note the philosophical twist in a seemingly simple nature song)

Touch of winter chill every now and then perhaps keep beckoning
When and on which morning shall my time come to loose everything?

(Here everything probably refers to ones ego and self esteem and delivering oneself to the feet of almighty)
